Welcome to the Rustic Ranch Wife!

This blog is to keep everyone up to date with the fun my husband and I have on the ranch and rodeo trail, as well as the few crafts I manage to fit in. My husband and I are about to move into our very own fixer upper. Be prepared, there may be a blogging overload.

Let’s start from the beginning… I grew up in the city (Ogden, UT), and have rodeo since I was a child. In high school I went the the National High School Rodeo Finals multiple times. I was given a full ride rodeo scholarship to a college in Texas. After my time in Texas I  moved back to Utah and got my bachelors degree in psychology. Lets be honest you can’t do anything with a bachelors degree in psychology! So I am currently getting my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

It wasn’t long after we moved home from Texas that my husband and I started dating (we both went to Texas on rodeo scholarships). I bet you can’t guess where we met? Yep, a rodeo. We dated for a couple of years and then got married.

We had the absolute perfect wedding a girl could ask for. My husband is from an extremely small town in Utah, which set the stage perfectly for a small town rustic wedding.  My husband makes his living, in the small town I now love to call home, as a 4th generation cattle rancher.

My husband and I love to ranch, rodeo, travel, hunt, fish, go on razor rides, basically anything outdoors, and be spontaneous. Additionally, I love to craft, keep up on fashion, and decorate.

I feel blessed to be living my dream with my prince charming. Last August we celebrated our two year anniversary. Everyday the fairytale continues with new adventures.

I hope you enjoy my blog
